Claude runs the standard MCP OAuth 2.1 handshake (Authorization Code + PKCE) automatically; access tokens are short-lived and refreshed silently. Works in Claude Desktop, Claude on the web, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client.
Questions, answered
The essentials on clients, billing, and access.
Which apps can I use it in?
Any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude on the web, and Cursor among them. You add TheChecker.AI once as a custom connector and it works everywhere you are signed in.
Do I need a subscription?
Detection runs on your plan (3 free checks, then a subscription); the Humanizer runs on word credits (1,000 free, then packs). They are billed separately — exactly like on the website.
How is usage counted?
The same way as the site. Every call is checked against your account’s entitlements live, so MCP can never exceed what your plan or credits allow.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the connector in your client’s settings. Access tokens are short-lived and refreshed automatically, so revoking the connector cuts off access.
Same account, same limits
MCP calls run through the exact same entitlement rules as the website, read live from your account. Detection is billed by your subscription; the humanizer by word credits. A plan does not include the humanizer, and credits do not unlock the detector.
